Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at the airport, a representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. The rest of the day is yours to unwind, settle in, and recover from your journey. Surrounded by peaceful gardens and a calm atmosphere, your lodge offers an ideal retreat as you prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you for the drive to Tarangire National Park. The route takes you across open Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees, where you’ll catch glimpses of daily pastoral life. Inside Tarangire, the landscape opens into savannas, wetlands, and the life-sustaining Tarangire River, drawing large herds of elephants as well as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, and predators such as lions and leopards. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll enjoy an unhurried game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
This morning begins with an early departure toward the Ngorongoro highlands. After reaching the rim, you descend into the vast caldera, a dramatic natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. The crater floor hosts more than 25,000 animals, including black rhinos, lions, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, and countless bird species. You’ll enjoy a full day of exploration and a picnic lunch inside this World Heritage Site. Later, you continue to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park & Flight to Zanzibar
After breakfast, your journey leads to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet incredibly diverse sanctuary. Its shallow alkaline lake attracts flamingos and hundreds of other bird species, while the surrounding forests and plains support monkeys, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the region’s famous tree-climbing lions. After your game drive and lunch, you return to Arusha for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar, arriving in Stone Town for a relaxed evening in this historic coastal city.
Day 5–7: Zanzibar North Coast – Explore & Relax
You depart Stone Town and head north to Nungwi, a lively coastal village renowned for its sweeping beaches, clear waters, and breathtaking sunsets. Once a traditional dhow-building hub, Nungwi now blends cultural heritage with modern beachside leisure. The days here are yours to enjoy at your own pace—whether snorkeling, diving around Mnemba or Tumbatu reefs, joining a fishing trip, practicing yoga, cycling through the village, or simply swimming in the warm ocean at any hour thanks to the gentle tides. It’s the ideal place to unwind after your safari.
Day 8: Free Morning & Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel and a relaxed morning before your transfer to the airport or seaport for your onward journey. You depart with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and island beauty.
