Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, a representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Green Mountain Lodge. The rest of the day is yours to unwind after your journey and enjoy the calm setting of the lodge. If time permits, you can explore Arusha town or visit cultural attractions such as the Maasai Market or the Arusha Declaration Museum. Dinner will be served at the lodge before you settle in for the night.
Day 2: Arusha to Lake Natron
After breakfast, you will begin your journey toward the remote landscape of Lake Natron. The drive takes you through striking scenery, including the Maasai steppe and the dramatic escarpments of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch will be enjoyed along the way or upon arrival at your lodge. In the afternoon, you will visit the shores of Lake Natron to observe flamingos and the lake’s unique soda formations. You may also take a guided walk to the nearby waterfalls or visit a Maasai boma for an authentic cultural encounter. You will spend the evening at a lodge near the lake.
Day 3: Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park through the eastern corridor. The journey itself offers a blend of scenic vistas and occasional wildlife sightings. Lunch will be enjoyed en route at a picnic site before you enter the park and begin your game drive. As you explore the expansive savannah, you will have opportunities to spot predators, grazing herds, and many species that make the Serengeti world-famous. Dinner and overnight accommodations await you at a tented camp inside the park.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the remarkable great migration or encounter lions, elephants, cheetahs, and other wildlife that roam the endless plains. A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site within the park, allowing you to make the most of your day in the wilderness. After an enriching day of exploration, you will return to your camp for dinner and relaxation.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will enjoy a game drive as you make your way out of the Serengeti and toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once inside the crater, you will descend for a half-day exploration of one of Africa’s most extraordinary ecosystems. Here, you may encounter black rhinos, lions, buffalos, hyenas, flamingos, and numerous other species thriving within the diverse habitats of the crater floor. A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater before you continue your exploration. By late afternoon, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Tarangire National Park and Return to Arusha
Your final day takes you to Tarangire National Park, known for its sweeping landscapes, rich wildlife, and iconic baobab trees. A morning game drive offers opportunities to see large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, lions, and many other species. After enjoying a picnic lunch within the park, you will continue your journey back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location or assisted with onward travel arrangements, marking the end of your safari adventure.
